As part of the Rooms Division, the Rooms Coordinator is a key player in the making it all happen, supporting Welcome Services, Style, Away Spa and beyond. The Rooms Coordinator is the behind-the-scenes connector who keeps our Rooms Division running seamlessly. From managing admin tasks and inventory, to following up on service requests and liaising with Style and Engineering, you'll ensure every detail contributes to an extraordinary guest experience.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a natural problem solver, and has a sharp eye for detail, all while keeping guest satisfaction and W brand standards front of mind. You'll handle the detail, making sure our talent has what they need to create unforgettable guest experiences. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the admin powerhouse: reports, schedules, reconciliations and records that keep us on point
  • Own purchase requests, orders, timely payments for third-party partners (outsourced services) done on time, every time
  • Keep the essentials flowing: manage inventory for multiple departments so nothing ever runs out
  • Team up with Style and Engineering to follow up on room issues and get them fixed fast
  • Support Talent onboarding and training, setting up our people for success
  • Keep tabs on compliance with W and Marriott brand guidelines
  • Performing day-to-day duties with passion and charisma whilst demonstrating outstanding communication skills

Requirements

  • Previous experience in operations (Rooms Division preferred) within a luxury hotel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with quick, proactive follow-through
  • Service orientated, collaborative and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience with PMS (Opera), MS Office
