About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Officer to join our Mining Studies team. This is a residential position based in Pinjarra. Reporting to the Mining Studies Manager, the role offers a standard Monday to Friday work schedule, complemented by a paid leisure day every four weeks, allowing you to spend more time doing the things you love
As a Project Controls Officer, you'll be instrumental in planning, organising, and controlling resources, procedures, and timelines for a variety of projects. You'll be the backbone of our project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource needs.- Monitor and report on project status, including budget, schedule, and resourcing, providing regular updates to stakeholders.- Ensure adherence to quality standards, including ISO certifications, and proactively resolve obstacles impacting timelines and budgets.- Integrate vendor tasks into project plans, track deliverables, and manage multiple interrelated projects, including business transformation initiatives.- Align survey priorities with business demand, manage new environmental requests, and continually improve processes.

What you can bring to the role:
- Proficiency in developing and managing detailed project schedules, including resource allocation and timeline management.- Experience in monitoring project costs, tracking budgets, and providing accurate financial reporting.- Ability to effectively monitor project progress, identify variances, and generate comprehensive status reports.- Understanding of quality standards and experience in ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance requirements, such as ISO certifications.- The ability to identify and help to mitigate project risks, and to work to resolve issues that arise during project progression.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS projects, Excel, project management software).

About the Location
Pinjarra Hub is our centralised Mining Hub, which supports our two mine sites, Huntly and Willowdale. The location also hosts, separately, other departments who provide support to our WA Refineries. This office is situated on the Bindjareb land of the Noongar people, in the Shire of Murray, just east of the Pinjarra town site.
