Principal Document Controller – Site-Based (Pinjarra)

Who are TSS?

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a seasoned Document Control Lead to oversee the document management function on a major brownfield program in the WA South West. Based on site in Pinjarra, this 12-month contract will see you lead a small team across both local and offshore offices, while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

You'll be the primary interface between project stakeholders, clients and third parties — ensuring accuracy, compliance and quality across all controlled documentation via Aconex.

This role is ideal for someone with proven leadership experience on large engineering or construction projects who is confident setting up systems, guiding teams, and implementing efficient workflows.

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated experience in document control leadership on large, complex projects

  • Strong Aconex capability (essential); prior Alcoa experience highly regarded

  • Ability to assess and improve systems, processes and document control plans

  • Skilled in mentoring, leading and coordinating multi-office teams

  • Advanced knowledge of EDMS platforms and document management best practices

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Information Management or Systems) or extensive equivalent experience
