Job Title:

Quality Assurance and Control Manager

About the Role:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Supervise Quality Assurance and Control Coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform process improvements and optimize quality outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for AS/NZS 1554.1 and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of project's quality management system.
  • Supervise and ensure alignment between QA/QC Coordinators.
  • Solve QA/QC queries in accordance with relevant specifications and escalate quality concerns to the QA/QC Manager.
  • Raise and action Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Conduct pre-start meetings for the QA/QC Team.
  • Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations to the workforce.
  • Assist the QA/QC Manager in developing procedures and management plans.
About You:
  • A strong understanding of AS/NZS 1554.1, AS 4037, AS 4041, AS 4458, AS 3992 is essential.
  • You should be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail and work well under pressure.
