About BeiGene:
About the Position:
Reporting to the APAC Supply chain senior director, you are responsible for Supply Chain activities in support of new product launches and commercial supply in APAC, primary focus to ANZ affiliate for an end to end supply chain representative, includes demand planning, inbound, outbound and OTC. Embed with vender performance management, inventory management, operation coordination cross functions while can extend scope to other markets as best practice sharing, process streamline and working efficiency improvement

You are a hands-on person with a strong cross-cultural awareness and communication skills to be a key player within a global collaborative team.

You will also support the design and shape operational processes to optimize efficiencies and performance more beyond ANZ or even potentially ex-APAC

Essential Functions of the job:
Demand planning and S&OP:

- Develop and lead Country demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple demand types and information sources.
- Develop demand scenarios and requirements for commercial products and launch planning.
- Lead and continuously improve the Demand Planning process for all locally distributed finished products coordinating with cross-functional activities.
- Lead an effective Demand review and drive a consensus approach by working with Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain partners.

Lead Supply Chain execution:

- Coordinate and lead cross functions in affiliate towards a supply requirements, aligned with upstream supplier.
- End to end operation oversight for FG from planning till final execution.
- Support commercial teams with 3PL/4PL selection and implementation.
- Manage daily operations including PO management, warehousing and transportation with 3PL, reverse logistics.
- Support the Order to cash process including sales order processing and master data maintenance.
- Manage and track inbound deliveries, including customs clearance, goods receipts, and goods release for distribution.
- Lead regular operational meeting with quality, FP&A, commercial, marketing, regulatory for a systematic, transparency information sharing to flag any risk in mid-term and mitigation recommendation, escalation with one voice, crisis management among team

Performance and compliance management:

- Manage and assess logistics supply chain vendor’s performance and reports operational metrics (KPIs), including regulatory reporting requirements when required.
- Ensure the requirements and business processes associated with goods are efficient and compliant with local regulations.
- Support supply chain projects implementation including serialization.

Root Cause Analysis and Process improvements
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to implement process improvements.
- Lead and assist in the creation and improvements of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
- Coordinate with quality team on deviations/CAPA for incidents that occur during local distribution / importation.

Qualification Required:
Competencies:

- 10+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain functions while a minimum of 5 years in demand or supply planning role within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Understands global pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, GMP and GDP; knowledgeable for ANZ affiliate specific, other markets’ experience is preferred
- Experience working in a global, complex supply chain organization within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong ability to collaborate and build strategic relationships with internal (Quality, Commercial, Finance, etc.) as well as external (CMO, customs brokers etc.) stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of logistics and distributions, import requirements and customs practices.
- Strong experience with initiating and leading process improvements.
- Open mind to embrace change, inclusive, willing to share business needs, be transparent and seek clarification to reach consensus among right stakeholders.

Education Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business or similar required. Advanced degree preferred.
