**About the team**:
Our new Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) are an even smarter and easier way to fulfil online orders and deliver the smiles for our customers. And you could get involved. Your role, no matter where you are at a CFC, will have a direct contribution to every customer's order. How good is that.

**About the role**:
This role reports into the Head of Transport Safety & Sustainability - Supply Chain and requires an experienced business leader to create, lead and deliver the transport safety strategy to our new Customer Fulfillment Centres in Victoria and New South Wales. This is a complex role that requires significant stakeholder management skills to influence a range of internal, external, and regulatory stakeholders for improved transport safety outcomes.
You’ll also:
- Lead the standardisation of business practices for safe, productive and future proofed successes to contribute towards Coles being Australia’s most trusted retailer and appropriately manage risk in Supply Chain transport operations.
- Influence and deliver effective change management to execute business plans in alignment with the Coles Safety strategy, whilst leading the development and deployment of transport safety initiatives across Supply Chain operations.
- Deliver health and safety compliance reporting and programs to ensure corporate and legal compliance is maintained, with explicit focus on critical risk management, safe home deliveries to customers and promoting mental health and wellbeing.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Regulators, Transport Workers Union (TWU) and other leading industry associations
- Create, implement, and maintain transport safety procedures within the Safety Care framework to ensure systematic management of risk, business assurance and due diligence is undertaken.
- Deliver leadership, coaching and mentoring to build leadership capability to effectively manage transport compliance.
**About you and your skills**:
- Subject matter expertise with health and safety frameworks, risk management, stakeholder management, safety governance and WHS regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of safety and productivity integration for large scale retail, logistics and corporate environments.
- Clear demonstration of ability to incorporate safety requirements while considering commercially viable, operational practicality and sustainable solutions.
- Experience working in self-insurance or ISO 45001 accredited safety management system.
- Safety degree/related discipline, and/or Legal compliance degree/related discipline.
- Strong experience in a safety or compliance related role. Transport/Supply Chain experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and relationship building capabilities with internal and external partners to influence change.
