- _**About You**

**About the Role**

Across the traineeship, you will be encouraged to use your initiative, take on important responsibilities and gain practical experience with exposure across a number of departments and functions as you develop your skills and capabilities and the foundations of becoming an exceptional leader.

Based in Melbourne and working within our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team for State and Federal Government contracts, you will gain exposure across operational workplace Health and Safety, Safety Management Systems, and Aspac wide HSE operating procedures.

You will develop relationships widely across Serco's business and operations, while gaining terrific experience and development across a breadth of people services in an organisation where our people are working within extremely diverse roles and work contexts.

As part of your employment with us, you will complete the below qualification as part of your xxx month traineeship:

Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety (BSB51319)**
- To be successful in this role, you will have:_

- A genuine interest in delivering essential public services
- A customer centric service ethos and commercial mindset
- The desire to learn and make things happen
- Australian Citizenship - this is mandatory due to site specific government clearances

This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check and specific site clearances as an essential selection component for this role.
