**About the Role**
An excellent has opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to join our team the Asset Management Group. In this role you will provide assistance to the AMG portfolio managers of troubled and impaired accounts. You will be tasked with assisting the Portfolio Manager to control and maximise the recovery of troubled loans and maintain and update as required all Bank systems in relation to AMG managed files.

This role is very dependant on your strong stakeholder management skills as you will be asked to Liaise with external consultants engaged by the Bank (Accountants, Lawyers, Valuers, etc) and also with internal departments and loan centre to restructure lending facilities and transactional services
**About you**
We’d love if you had prior banking or lending experience in Australia, it will certainly make this role a lot easier for you. Being a heavily analytical role, will be expecting excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work autonomously to both established and forecast deadlines. Your attention to attention to detail will be called into action regularly, so this needs to be something that comes naturally to you. A university degree in related field would be a great starting point but not essential.
- Previous involvement in Recoveries or Asset Management (desirable)
- Lending experience (essential)
- Understanding of key business drivers and key success factors in business (essential)
- Specialised knowledge in corporate recovery and insolvency practices (desirable)
