Asset Configuration Analyst

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as an Asset and Configuration Analyst during our digital transformation journey on a 12-month maximum term basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by supporting the management of IT Assets and Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As an Asset and Configuration Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for the management of IT Assets (Hardware and Software) and Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), further assisting with the implementation of configuration management operating model, policy, standard, processes, and procedures to support the CMDB. This role will also assist in the governance of BOQ Group technology assets and ensure that business and technology services are governed to provide end-to-end service visibility.

Reporting to our Senior Manager of Asset Management, you will identify and collaborate with CI data owners and other stakeholders in relation to CI data governance and audits, to ensure the quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all CIs are current as to certify that the service delivery function operates efficiently for the portfolio to meet its financial and compliance requirements under its remit.

**About you**
You will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You will have a willingness and commitment to adapt and learn, having solid communication skills on a verbal and written level to articulate technical information and collaborate with team members.

Having a solid understanding of ITIL Foundation v3/v4, you will have experience with the ServiceNow platform. You will also have knowledge and experience in ITSM processes such as Service Configuration Management/Configuration Management Database. Experience with enterprise level ITSM and reporting tools are highly advantageous.
