**Your new company**
Your new client is a public sector authority located in south Brisbane. They are looking to engage an Asset Analyst - Transport/Stormwater, who reports to the Infrastructure Asset Coordinator.

**Your new role**
In your new role, you will be providing effective provision of road and drainage asset management activities. You will help with managing the financial asset registers, including the replacement cost, the creation of financial assets, additions, disposals and asset adjustments in Assetic and Technology One. You will also:

- Produce professional reports on a wide range of issues
- Evaluate, accumulate and validate asset data and their respective databases
- Undertake adhoc investigations on finance asset issues
- Review accounting transactions including allocation between capital and operating costs

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will need technical expertise in relevant account knowledge, including the ability to document, maintain and improve systems and processes. As well as:

- Tertiary qualifications in a business or accounting field
- Great communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical advice to internal and external peoples
- Current “C” class drivers license

**What you'll get in return**
Client is offering an initial 6 month contract, with the possibility to extend to 12 months based on performance or team fit. Looking at 72.5 hour fortnight with an RDO. Rate is around $43 an hour.
