**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **dedicated and experienced House Supervisor / Team Leader** to coordinate the care and household of a **young female in her 20s living with disability**. Based in a private home, this is a rewarding opportunity to lead a small team while delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

This hybrid role includes both **hands-on support and leadership/administrative responsibilities**, ensuring daily routines, appointments, NDIS goals, and household operations are coordinated with compassion, structure, and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Daily Coordination**
- Support and oversee all aspects of the client’s daily routine, household management, and personal support needs.
- Coordinate outings, appointments, activities, and therapy schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe living environment.

**Team Leadership**
- Lead and support a small team of Disability Support Workers.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and mentorship, including completing some direct support shifts.
- Manage rosters, conduct regular team meetings, and oversee shift handovers.
- Monitor performance and address gaps or follow-ups as needed.

**NDIS Administration**
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation (daily notes, incidents, medication).
- Track progress against goals, and liaise with management to align with the NDIS plan.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards standards.

**Household Oversight**
- Oversee meals, cleaning, shopping, laundry, and home maintenance routines.
- Ensure equipment, safety checks, and routines are upheld.
- Monitor stock levels and household budget items.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
**Essential**
- Experience with leadership or coordination responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to support a person-centred, active support environment.
- Familiarity with the NDIS and quality/compliance frameworks.
- Strong digital literacy (using apps, digital records, and shift systems).
- Flexibility in working hours and availability for on-call/drop-in support.
- Strong documentation and planning skills.

**Desirable**
- Cert III (or higher) in Disability, Community Services or relevant qualification.
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Driver’s licence and own fully insured vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening and Police Check
- Experience supporting people with complex needs or non-verbal communication.
- Experience supporting people with disability in a home setting.
