Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, our clinic is designed to help clients feel relaxed and accepted from the moment they enter. With spacious, light-filled rooms, a separate breakout space, and convenient onsite parking, coming to work is a pleasure. We provide services to individuals of all ages, offering a diverse range of evidence-based psychological treatments and assessments.

**About the Role**
We are offering both full-time and part-time positions (minimum of 2 days per week), with the option of a contractor agreement or a salaried position. Your role will primarily involve 1:1 therapy, with opportunities for employee’s to conduct assessments and/or group therapy (training can be provided).
At Thriving Minds, we value work/life balance and are committed to preventing burnout. We offer flexible work arrangements, including early start/early finish or late start/late finish shifts, so you don’t spend all day at work. Our split shifts allow you to free up your mornings or afternoons, providing the flexibility you need to thrive both personally and professionally.
**About You**
You are a fully registered Psychologist who is:

- **Curious and Real**: You understand that continuous learning is key to providing the best care, and you’re eager to share your knowledge with colleagues.
- **Client-Focused**: You get a buzz from those ‘Ah-ha’ therapy moments and are dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals.
**You will need the following**:
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Psychologist.
- Experience in evidence-based psychological therapies.
- A collaborative spirit, enjoying working as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to build meaningful rapport with clients.
- Initiative and a proactive approach to your work.

As a passionate advocate for mental health, Melissa is committed to ensuring that our clinic upholds the highest international standards in psychological assessments and treatment.
Beyond her professional role, Melissa is a mother and understands the challenges of balancing work and family life. She loves staying active, indulging in audible books, and exploring new destinations with her family.
At Thriving Minds, Melissa divides her time between providing clinical supervision, managing the day-to-day operations, and being available to support her team. She is known for her approachable and supportive nature, ensuring that every team member feels valued and fulfilled in their career. Melissa’s leadership is further enhanced by a dedicated administrative team, allowing her to focus on what she does best—being there for her team and our clients.
