**Administration and Accounts Officer Role**

**Position Purpose**:
We are seeking an experienced professional, enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is to provide a high level of administrative and accounts support to the LuddaCare Disability Service requirements. This is a critical position that requires effective communication, efficiency with an eye for detail, and an ability to engage and support participants and key stakeholders. Acting in a professional manner and maintaining confidentiality, rights, privacy, and dignity of participants and families.

**Role Specific**:

- Prompt referral of incoming inquires through to the appropriate team member and supporting them with further administrative tasks as required.
- Assisting with monthly reporting in line with NDIS Standards and Regulations
- Assisting with scheduling of meetings and booking requirements
- Supporting the organisation and management of the head office space
- Monitor Safe work practices, assist staff with problems and recommend actions.
- Assisting Accounts with
- Support Management to ensure Mandatory Training requirements are up to date.
- Ad-hoc administrative support for Ludda Care as required and requested to support the evolving needs of the service.

- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity when working with diverse backgrounds.
- Reporting of incidents or near misses that may impact on safety
- identification and prevention of risks in line with the NDIS Standards and Practices and WorkSafe.
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of Participants, families, and business operations.
- Participate in annual performance discussions, including internal and external education programs training, and demonstrated commitment to improving professional performance and development.

**Selection Criteria**

**Essential Knowledge and Skills**:

- Demonstrated excellent, effective, and appropriate verbal, written and interpersonal communication techniques with strong organisational skills.
- Advanced computer literacy
- Microsoft Office Suite, search engines, databases, keyboard skills and proficient use of operating systems.
- Strong organisational time management skills and ability prioritise work requirements.
- A solution focussed attitude, ability to use initiative and flexibility to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Preferred Certification in Administration, Business, Accounting, Disability or similar
- Minimum three years’ experience as an Administration Officer, Office Assistant, or relevant role
- Experience in the Disability Sector (preferred but not a requirement)
- Demonstrated experience in continuing professional development.
- Understanding of National Disability Insurance Service (NDIS)
- Current Victoria Drivers Licence
- Current NDIS Screening Check
- Current Working with Childrens Check
