**Role Purpose**
As the Brand Communications and Content Specialist your mission will be to assist in driving understanding and awareness of the Woolworths Metro Brand proposition with impactful and engaging communications.
The focus is on bringing our brand to life in best-in-class content that supports the Woolworths Metro’s brand ambitions by supporting editorial strategy and planning as well as the production, integration and amplification of our multi-channel content.
You will also help define what content goes where to support our strategic objectives and brand strategy, delivering the content customers are looking for. It is a collaborative position where you will work with our partners and stakeholders to deliver omnichannel content strategy for our social and digital, print and in-store channels
**Key responsibilities**
- Ensure clear execution of the Metro brand through all collateral including crafting, editing and proof-reading marketing copy, promotional materials and sales collateral
- All assets and pieces of work created are to be strategically aligned are legally compliant, adhere to brand guidelines and are delivered in the right format
- Develop and implement content strategies for Metro’s social and digital activations to drive understanding of the Metro proposition - paid and owned assets
- Build a deep understanding of how our customers view and engage with our programs. Work across all owned channels and evolve strategies and creative work to better resonate with customers.
- Lead the development and delivery of video content, as part of communications, marketing, social media, internal communications, media and digital communications strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies and tools to continually monitor and evaluate media channels, to ensure continual improvement, and to help inform future projects and campaigns
- Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in Metro Brand and Marketing campaigns through paid media channels and creative assets
**What you bring to the role**
- Comms and/or campaign management
- The process from objectives and briefing to strategic and creative evaluation, production and measurement
- Media - including best practices and budgetary control
- Financial best practice - budgeting, forecasting, reporting
- Working with or inside creative agencies
- Working with insights
- How to be legal and mitigate risk
- Talent/ambassador management
- This is not a 9-5 kind of role. Given the nature of the work, you will often be required to work and respond outside traditional hours.
