**Brand Strategy and Propositions Manager**

**12 month fixed-term contract**

**The Opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Branding specialist who will be the expert in key development of brand strategy and the development of brand propositions that support differentiation of the Woolworths Group portfolio of brands. You will also be accountable to build and develop brands through solid planning discipline, as well as nurture existing brands to help them to grow.

In addition you will:

- Shape the right brand strategy and be the champion for the brand positioning to align propositions to deliver and build on the core brand
- Identify and shape the right brand propositions in the right way to deliver on build brand growth.
- Review and appraise brand health metrics, to identify insight and opportunity for the brand in the results
- Partner with stakeholders across brand businesses, as well as with stakeholders who ‘build’ the substance of the propositions
- Shape and advocate for the brand position and propositions with the teams who bring this substance to life through storytelling and communications
- Manage the sourcing, maintenance and sharing of strategically appropriate proof points that support core propositions; partner with legal and business to source and validate these; and partner with Product Owners and Squads to ensure the right proof is expressed in the right spaces
- Work with the marketing calendar planning team to ensure that evolving objectives are shaped into the right priority messages to inform calendar activity
- Be the expert in tracking performance of our core propositions against various audiences & rallying teams to correct, optimise and drive growth using this performance data
- Deeply understand customer insights around key propositions & be the customer champion that interfaces between brand strategy and communications
- Manage all associated proposition documentation & support the Brand Strategy & Proposition Chapter Lead and Chapter Members in producing simple, digestible frameworks that enable the focussed development of strong propositions & the activation of these with the right teams

**About You**
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role within an agency environment or a large organisation, and be able to demonstrate:

- A known & expert ability to distil complexity into clear, logical, actionable frameworks
- The ability to see the bigger picture but also an expert eye for detail & a working understanding the role brand across the broader organisations
- An excellent collaborator & influencer - this role requires a high degree of partnership
- A sound understanding of the grocery retail landscape and what’s important to consumers in this space
- Agency best practice - what good briefs look like, evaluating work, getting the best out of partnerships
- Ability to use Insights
