**Project Officer**

- **Temporary Full-Time up to 30 June 2027**:

- **Salary $110,266 up to 122,058 + accrued flex leave and employer superannuation contribution**

**About the role**

We are seeking a versatile **Project Officer** to support our dispersed and dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in coordinating projects and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced and reactive environment.

You will be guided and supported by experienced team members but expected to work **autonomously** and show initiative, particularly in responding to project needs and business priorities. You will also:

- Support project coordination, tracking, and reporting on status, deliverables, and risks
- Prepare clear and concise correspondence, reports, and brief notes
- Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication
- Assist in vocational education and training data interrogation and reporting
- Perform administrative and secretariat duties as required
- Contribute to policy-related tasks and budget tracking
- Work on data-driven tasks and generate reports using Excel
- Support business improvement initiatives through practical, tech-savvy input
- Confidently attend and contribute to meetings as needed

**About you -**
- Proven experience in project coordination and support roles
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship maintenance
- Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- High proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and data reporting
- Understanding of vocational education and training environment
- Ability to follow instructions carefully with attention to detail
- A flexible and resilient team player who embraces a fast-changing environment
- Good tech know-how and a willingness to learn new systems and tools
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
