**The Principal Advisor Employee Relations provides strategic, tactical and operational advice and support to the department, including in the key areas of the management and resolution of industrial disputation; the negotiation of employment conditions including enterprise bargaining; advocacy on behalf of the Department, including before the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission; union consultation and relationship management; managing employee performance and absence management; policy and guidelines/procedure development and review of industrial instruments/directives.
