**About Us**

Norma's is an always-on banquette of food and drinks. It's a one-stop destination for takeaway goods when a legion of friends come over for a Sunday late lunch or a revolving deli offering for a mid-week meeting at the bar. The menu is influenced by Greek flavours but expands its repertoire to include Mediterranean-style dishes; think jam-packed sandwiches on freshly baked bread and a lemon tart to finish. Norma’s is best-in-class when it comes to a Deli concept, as the pre-prepped food cabinet sits alongside the live kitchen, bakery and bar. The onsite sourdough bakery will operate alongside a rotisserie, with fine deli meats being cut on order. The Deli operates from morning to night, offering the Manly locals and visitors a reliable option when it comes to any food and drink occasion. Whether you are visiting for the first time or a frequent patron, Norma’s will become synonymous with the overall beachside experience.

**About the Opportunity**

The Food and Beverage Manager owns our retail experience in our charcuterie, retail cheese and wine areas. With a respect for high quality food and service, you will bring a strong knowledge and passion for food and wine, manage our suppliers to ensure we are offering the best produce for our guests.

**A typical day would look like**
- Manage and report on produce sales and recommend changes to Senior Leadership when needed
- Changes to retail offering in line with seasonal changes and restaurant menus
- Engaging with our customers, lending your passion and knowledge on products to make recommendations
- Stock management of grocery, charcuterie and alcohol areas
- Relationship management with suppliers to ensure we have access to quality products
- Rostering for retail space
- Monitor and manage packaging and consumables
- A minimum of 2 years’ Front of house experience
- An interest in visual merchandising
- A passion for, and exceptional knowledge of cheese, meats and wine
- Knowledge of current food and wine trends
- Customer-focused - passionate about interacting and building rapport with guests
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail
- A genuine desire to learn and grow with us
- Have strong people management and communication skills
- Available to work days, evenings, weekends and public holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
