**Key Accountabilities**

**Collections**
- Negotiate payments from customers calling about outstanding debt and resolve customer inquiries to enhance revenue opportunities
- Understand and follow regulatory and compliance obligations of the energy industry
- Pro-actively recognise and engage with customers who are at risk of having outstanding debt
- Support customers who are experiencing financial hardship by delivering our bill assist program
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve collection and operational processes
- Self-manage to schedule and breaks and actively participate in coaching sessions and team meetings as well as working diligently towards achieving specified team and individual accountabilities.
- Willingly take on challenges and projects as opportunities arise

**Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Personal Qualities**

**Education**
- High School Certificate completion or equivalent operational experience desirable

**Experience**
- Strong background in collections or financial management role (minimum 1+ years)
- Background in the energy market preferred
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage financial risks
