A Day in the Life

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Market Development Manager to join our high performing Diabetes business based in Sydney Reporting into the Marketing Director, who offers support, guidance, and mentorship to own your success, this a perfect opportunity to join Medtronic.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Key leadership role in the Asia Pacific Diabetes Operating Unit.- Works with regional leadership team to develop strategic and marketing plans and annual operating plans.- Identifies, develops, and implements near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, partnerships, initiatives, services, follow-on products, and/or industries.- Work closely with the regional healthcare professional training and education leader to design and manage a strategic engagement and development program for healthcare professionals.- Identifies markets, opportunities, and determines the feasibility of business and market development.- Performs economic analyses on new or improved markets and opportunities.- Develops business models and determines market trends to substantiate long-term prospects.- Coordinates with internal departments in identifying and implementing business development projects.- Works with marketing teams and customers across the Asia Pacific region to determine opportunities for business growth.- Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree- Minimum of five years experience in healthcare and have worked with multiple countries within the APAC region- Experience in both development and tactical execution of marketing strategies and identifying opportunities for growth
