We have a brand new opportunity for a Remuneration and Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team, based in our Barangaroo, Sydney office. This is a permanent position.

As the Remuneration & Benefits Analyst you will work across the broad-based remuneration portfolio to provide advice and guidance to the HR team and the broader business on our remuneration framework, policies and processes. You will perform detailed analysis and modelling of internal and external remuneration data to draw insights and support business decision making. The role will lead compensation and benefits activities, services, systems and reporting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Managing the remuneration programs and cyclical activities such as the annual remuneration review, market matching/pricing, superannuation offering and employee share plans.
- Undertaking internal and external remuneration benchmarking to support Leaders and the HR team in remuneration decision making.
- Prepare company remuneration data and complete industry salary surveys using judgement and remuneration knowledge to map company data into external templates.
- Undertake remuneration governance activity to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and modern awards.
- Monitoring remuneration trends and review market data and benefits to benchmark CMC Markets’ practices and programs.
- Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
- Coordinating and rolling out the annual performance cycle through the HR Business Partners.
- Ownership for the data management activities which underpin the annual salary review process.
- Managing the employee benefit program and annual calendar of events. This involves relationship management of vendors and internal stakeholders, promotion of the program and responding to employee queries.
- Providing assistance to payroll as needed to ensure the accurate and timely processing of any remuneration and benefit plans.
- Implementation of new initiatives and remuneration change programs.
- Assisting in the governance of the remuneration framework
- Complex data modelling to support key remuneration activities, e.g. gender equity pay review and employee incentive programs
- Regular and ad-hoc reporting on HR metrics and activities.
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
- When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets.

Key Skills & Experience

Required:

- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in remuneration and human resource roles within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to execute enterprise-wide projects (e.g. remuneration review) through working effectively with others.
- Knowledge of building compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels.
- Proven ability to be analytical & handle data effectively with the ability to understand the market and trends over time.
- Experience in creating information from raw data sources.
- Knowledge of contemporary remuneration and benefit practices, employment taxes, legislation, and market practice.
- People management experience preferred, but not essential

Qualification/s required

Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, HR or related discipline.
