
Reward Analyst, HR Remuneration and Benefits Team

The Westpac Reward and Benefits team play a critical role in ensuring that our people are recognised and rewarded in a contemporary way that reflects their value and contribution to Westpac’s success.
As a Reward Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of the performance and reward cycle. In addition, you will contribute to a range of projects, through research, analysis, data management and reporting.
**Your role will**:
- Provide analytical and modelling support to the Senior Manager, Reward Analytics and Reward Managers on both an ad-hoc and project-based basis.
- Provide analytical and modelling to support performance & remuneration reviews, and recognition programs as required.
- Contribute to variable reward forecasting and creation of budgets for the business unit/division.
- Provide performance management and reward advice to the HR teams, including interpretation of policy, providing appropriate pay data and related analysis.
- Support the maintenance and development of reward frameworks. Support and administer databases and reward dashboard.

**What do I need?**
You will bring 1 - 3 years of experience across Rewards & Remuneration or relevant areas of HR, including:
- Proven analytical and reporting capability.
- Knowledge of market matching and data surveys.
- Advanced user of analytical tools in Excel
- Desirable - Experience in HR or remuneration within complex environments with relevant technical and professional knowledge
- Desirable - Knowledge of the Banking and Finance Industry preferable
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent proficiency in translating and analysing data. Strong presentation and written communication skills
