**The Role**
Under broad direction and in accordance with established priorities, principles, methodology and work practices, undertake a range of duties, but not limited to the following:

- Organise and participate in bilateral working groups and forums with specified regional and non-regional countries and multilateral forums;
- Conduct analysis for country relationships to support recommendations to grow logistics interoperability and inject into work plans;
- Process amendments to international logistics Agreements and Arrangements and develop new Agreements and Arrangements as required;
- Provide staff support to CJLOG as directed in support of his bilateral and multilateral meeting program and international logistics delegations visits to Australia;
- Provide advice to IPDIV, HQJOC, the Services, CASG, overseas posts and other government agencies on the functions of international logistics and the effective implementation of Agreements and Arrangements;
- Coordinate Logistics IE performance reporting and feedback;
- Any other tasks as directed.

**About our Team**
Commander Joint Logistics (CJLOG) responsibilities are executed through the Directorate of International Logistics Partnerships (DILP) include:

- Management of the JLC International Logistics Engagement Program;
- Development and maintenance of Defence strategic logistics Agreements and Arrangements according to national interests and associated strategic guidance;
- Engagement with Defence stakeholders, IPDIV desk leads, and Group and Service International Engagement counterparts to synchronise international logistics engagement and share information;
- Engagement with partner nations at staff level talks and logistics working groups.

DILP also convene the Defence International Logistics Engagement Working Group (DILEWG), the main purpose of which is to coordinate international logistics engagement activities across Defence Logistics Network by ensuring:

- Alignment with nominated Defence engagement goals;
- Identification of logistics focused engagement objectives which improve logistics interoperability with partner Defence Forces.

They have a good understanding of strategic logistics, international engagement or both. They will be able to brief in both written and verbal formats up to group head level.

They will be passionate about preparing Australia's international logistics partnerships for the strategic challenges of the coming years.
