I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Agency located in the Geelong CBD, who is seeking multiple APS5 Workforce Procurement Officers, for a 12-month temporary, full-time assignment with the potential to extend.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Workforce Procurement Officer, you will work standard full time business hours from Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The role is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation. Responsibilities include:

- Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
- Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, the organisation’s Procurement Policy and procedures.
- Assisting with tracking value for money-based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
- Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
- Entering, extracting, and manipulating data to enable accurate organisation reporting.
- Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS5 Workforce Procurement Officer, you will need:

- Strong Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
- Ability to remain composed in a changing, fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of procurement or recruitment processes is desired
- Previous experience using an HR or Finance business system preferred
- An understanding of disability / disability sector advantageous
- Australian Citizenship
