**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for multiple Procurement Officers, to join the Procurement & Corporate Services Team in assisting with partnering with the business areas to procure goods and services for the Agency.

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. APS 5 level role offering $53.63 hourly + Superannuation. To be based out of either Geelong, Braddon (ACT) or Brisbane

This is a hybrid position offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site. 37.5-hour work weeks, with 8-hour days expected.

**About the role**:
The APS5 Procurement is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency
- Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, Agency Procurement Policy and procedures
- Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs
- Preparing a range of procurement related documentation
- Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting
- Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements

**About you**
- ** Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position**:

- Previous procurement experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Previous background within Disability or Government highly advantageous
