APS5 Practice Management - Finance and Procurement Officer needed, Geelong, Fed Gov Organisation, 12 Month
**Your new company**
Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria to appoint an APS5 Practice Management Officer within their finance and procurement team. An independent statutory agency that supports a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant or permanent disability and their families/carers.

**Your new role**
- Undertaking procedural and administrative support including mailbox management.
- Coordinating recording and reporting of accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly expenditure reports, accruals and budgets.
- Assisting with corporate credit card transactions and reconciliations.
- Managing the payment of legal disbursements.
- Responding to accounts related queries as a key contact for external firms and clients.
- Assisting lawyers with CPD requirements, such as booking training, travel and processing payments.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Extensive experience in accounts, including preparing reports and budgets.
- Some experience with legal documents would be desirable.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Varied administrative skills, including answering queries from external clients.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
