I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Client located in the Geelong CBD who is looking for multiple APS5 Internal Review Officers.

**Your new role**

There are x5 positions up for grabs, with working from home flexibly on occasion. As the APS5 Internal Review Officer, you will perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to other team members within the team. Further responsibilities will include:

- Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews and the appeals process.
- Undertaking evidence-based decision-making as prescribed in the Act, rules, Operational Guidelines and policies.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframe.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes and systems.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS5 Internal Review Officer you will need:

- A good critical thinking skillset
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- An ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Demonstrated ability to gather information and make informed decisions
- Experience managing a case load
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- An Internal Review Case Officer work sample assessment is required to be completed (please allow up to 1 hour to complete this assessment)
- Australian Citizenship
