About the Role
We are on the search for a creatively minded Design Assistant, to join our growing Design Team within our Head Office in Brisbane. This opportunity will see you provide administrative and creative support to the Design and Production team to contribute to the design of a wide range of Lorna Jane products.

**Major areas of responsibility will include**:

- Assist in writing and proof-reading description stickers to ensure customers are provided with accurate product swing-tags
- Sketching garments and filling out design specifications
- Assist in creating mood and trend boards to contribute to inspiration and planning of future collections
- Creating and maintaining colour palettes
- Organising sample cupboards
- Filing all styles, colours, samples and other information through artwork filing systems
- Receipting and transferring stock within NetSuite for quality control samples and stock write offs

About You
You are an aspiring designer, with a qualification in fashion design or production. You want to revolutionise the Activewear/Athleisure Category and understand the importance of both design and garment construction with an engagement with the full life cycle of design. You have previous administration or retail experience, a high level of technical drawing skills and ability to use Illustrator and Photoshop.
