**Description**:
**About the role**:
The Supply Chain Specialist provides direction and support direct to the LNG Business Units (Service Rigs, Well Integrity (Wireline), Fluid Management & Production Services, Well Testing & Well Equipment Solutions) through the guidance and coordination of procurement, purchasing, warehousing & inventory control, logistics & distribution, and/or activities that limit cost and improve accuracy, customer service and safety.

From the outset, this position will be responsible for designing and building the supply chain to align with the LNG teams’ business strategy, utilising existing ERP systems and in doing so optimising LNG operations, driving consistency and delivering optimum cost performance.

**The core responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Development of the architecture and structure of the Supply Chain for the LNG Business Units.
Drafting of process and procedures, implementing system controls, and identifying opportunities for streamlining activities across the LNG BU’s to meet business needs, in particular leading the creation and roll out of the requisition to goods receipt or Procure to Pay (P2P) process driving cost control.
Analyse and optimize inventory holdings considering consumption history, demand forecasting and market availability.
Drive sourcing strategies, negotiations and establishment of supply agreements and relationships for key goods, materials and subcontracted services to achieve cost reductions and control across the LNG BU’s.
Provide training, support, mentorship, advice and guidance to the members of the Operations and Administration teams performing Supply Chain tasks to develop their competencies and skills.
Establish vendor pre-qualification processes and systems and ensure Operations Teams utilise same.
Drive the implementation of processes aimed at continuous improvement in supply chain activities.
Promote and nurture a positive culture through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.

This role can be based at our Brisbane Head Office (Fortitude Valley) or at our Wellcamp (Toowoomba) Office.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you may hold formal qualifications in Supply Chain or a related field and have 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain roles, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.

Results oriented, continuously striving for improvement and proactive in taking the necessary steps to achieve set goals or targets,, you will have common sense decision-making abilities.

Intermediate to advanced skills in in Microsoft Office Suite, HR3, Pronto & JobPac ERPs
