Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

At our organization, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in managing the transportation and logistics of our products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling of Road and Rail Services: Coordinate the scheduling of road and rail services to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.\
  • Transport Planning: Plan shipments based on availability and customer requests, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.\
  • Packing and Shipping: Ensure that all packing schedules are accurate and up-to-date, including vessel details and pick lists. Follow up with customers to obtain import permits, weed seed certifications, and other required documents.\
  • Email Management: Monitor and respond to all emails related to warehousing and packing services, ensuring that clients have access to critical business information.\
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, 3rd party service providers, and NCA staff.\
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all inspections are completed in a timely manner and that invoices are processed and sent to clients promptly.\
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends and changes.\\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Certificate III or Higher in Logistics: Preferred qualification for this role.\
  • Warehouse Operations Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics.\
  • Supply Chain & Rail/Road Logistics: Experience in coordinating and planning transport movements, including scheduling and tracking.\
  • Cotton Industry (Preferred): Previous experience in the cotton industry is an advantage.\
  • Department of Agriculture Experience (Preferred): Relevant experience in working with the Department of Agriculture would be beneficial.\\
