**Sheet Metal Tradesman/Worker-Fabricator**

As You will play an essential part of supplying a quality Australian made product, attention to detail is essential along with pride in your work. Being a part of a small team, you will need to be able to work with others in a supportive environment and have a safety-first approach to everyday.

**Key Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Fabricating and assembling a range CNC profiled stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel products, and fit out with high quality components to detailed customer specifications.
- Operating various metalworking machinery and equipment, including welding machines, cutting tools and CNC press brake.
- Performing quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure work meets required Prolec Australia standards.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Ability to Read and work to Technical Drawings
- MIG & TIG welding
- Experience with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild Steel Fabrication
- High attention to detail
- Organised, punctual and have a positive attitude
- Current Drivers licence and a reliable means for transport as we are not located on a public transport route.
- A willingness to learn and work with others to produce high quality products
- Have a safety-first approach to their job.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular on site fit for work drug and alcohol testing.
- Australian Work Visa, Australian Residency

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Forklift licence is an advantage
- Computer knowledge.
- Able to read drawings, prepare sketches for CAD Drawings.
- Program & operate CNC machinery

**Salary**: Dependent upon experience, $ 35-$45 per hour
