**First Class Sheet Metal Worker**

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding family owned and operated company that you can be proud to be a part of. Our company specializes in the manufacture, supply & distribution of high quality industrial products. We are seeking an experienced sheet metal tradesman to join a passionate team in a busy manufacturing workshop the Newcastle area.

**Tasks will include but not limited to**:

- Fabrication of switchboards, enclosures as well as light fabrication - folding, cutting, welding (MIG,TIG), polishing, etc.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Trade qualified sheet metal worker/fabricator.
- Must be able to work with or without drawings (read & interpret technical drawings).
- MMAW, TIG and MIG welding skills.
- Experience with S/S, Aluminum, mild steel fabrication.
- Ability to work un-supervised, with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Driver's license with own reliable transport
- Strong experience with power and hand tools
- Polishing experience
- Have the ability to utilize metal working machinery
- Must be organized, punctual, have a positive attitude and be well presented
- Excellent Interpersonal / communication skills
- Ability to work conscientiously and show initiative

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Computer knowledge.
- Able to read drawings, prepare sketches for CAD Drawings.
- Program & operate CNC machinery
