**About the role**

We are seeking a metal worker to join our team with an immediate start. The worker will be fabricating and assembling components for our innovative modular bridges, which then get transported to communities across Australia. The position would start on a casual basis but would become permanent for the right worker.

**Skills and experience**
- Display proficiency in all facets of metal work including fabrication, welding and component assembly
- Be able to work well in a team environment
- Have an eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines
- Be pro-active and willing to learn our unique systems

Desired High-Risk tickets include:

- CB Crane (overhead)
- LF Forklift

Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol screening prior to commencing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: Up to $42.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Reading Technical Drawings: 1 year (required)
- Steel or heavy manufacturing industry: 1 year (preferred)
- Using an Inventory Management System: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
