**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for committed and highly skilled **Fabricator** to join our Transformers workshop based in **Tomago 2322. **The hourly rate for this position is $39.85

We have a modern Transformer manufacturing facility that specialises in the design, manufacturing and overhaul of custom-built power transformers, providing engineered solutions for equipment requirements ranging from the intricate to the complex.

We manufacture transformers up to 80MVA at 132kV and can overhaul and repair units weighing up to 80 tonnes.

You will be hands-on completing the fabrication component of in-house designed and manufactured packages of electrical products engineered to international standards, incorporating individual components to provide total electrical solutions for mining, utilities and heavy industries.

These roles are diverse in many areas of heavy and light manufacturing. Typical duties include the welding and general fabrication on a wide range of sheet metal enclosures using stainless and mild steel, as well as structural welding and fabrication of larger supporting structures, flameproof enclosures, transformer tanks, skids and switchrooms.

Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:

- Fabrication trade qualification (Boilermaker or Sheetmetal Worker)
- Sheetmetal experience in stainless and mild steel (Sheetmetal Worker)
- TIG Welding Experience - Aluminium and Copper
- Heavy fabrication experience (Boilermaker)
- Safety as a core value
- A strong team player willing to get your hands dirty
- Forklift, Dogging, certificates - advantageous
