**Your Role & Team**:
The Insights and Analytics team partners with the business to identify opportunities for business growth whilst also supporting and driving high quality decision-making that helps CreditorWatch achieve its goals.

As the **Head of Data Analytics,** you will manage the team and lead the way for identifying critical business direction, informing strategic decision-making processes and developing actionable recommendations for the business.

Your primary focus will be to implement and operate the analytical framework to optimise the creation of shareholder value for CreditorWatch, in addition to providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to a team of analysts responsible for gathering, processing, and analysing company, sales and product data, pricing information, and market trends.

This role reports directly to the **GM, Customer Experience** and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.

**Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to**:

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance using data and champion the implementation of these.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives, expectations, and performance metrics to ensure the team's efforts are aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
- Uncover actionable insights to optimise revenue growth by analysing marketing performance metrics, product utilisation data, customer behaviour, and other available data factors.
- Define and prioritise analytical projects, initiatives, and tasks based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic objectives.
- Create & maintain strong business relationships with product, sales, marketing & finance teams to identify trends that will drive critical business recommendations that drive beneficial result across key company objectives & metrics.
- Review and validate analytical findings, interpretations, and recommendations to ensure accuracy, relevance, and actionable insights are provided to stakeholders.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in analytics, data visualisation, and technology, and leverage industry insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources, assign tasks, and manage workloads to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders to ensure the availability of data assets that facilitate the generation of actionable insights and findings.

To be successful in the role, you’ll have at least 7+ years of experience in data analytics and at least 2 years of team management experience.

You'll have a healthy balance between being technical and personable, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights whilst supporting and mentoring a team.

Your analytical skills will be strong, having expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau and working with CRMs such as as Salesforce.

Lastly, you'll have a commercial mindset, strong knowledge of data governance and compliance, and exceptional communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
