Talent Insights is currently recruiting for an accomplished Head of Data & Analytics to lead the development and execution of the AI and data strategy across a major corporate portfolio. This role blends technical expertise with commercial acumen, driving improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, and workforce empowerment through data and AI.

The successful candidate will design and deliver trusted, secure, and timely data products that meet business needs, while championing data governance, uplifting data literacy, and encouraging platform adoption across the domain. They will also be responsible for preparing and securing endorsement for business cases that support data enablement and AI investment, ensuring risks are identified and broader implications are understood.

Leading a cross-functional team of strategy, data science, and architecture experts, the Head of Data & Analytics will influence senior stakeholders, drive complex change initiatives, and foster a data-driven culture. Collaboration will extend across business unit leaders, the Chief AI Officer, other Heads of Data & Analytics, and Group Technology leadership.

Required experience for the
Head of Data & Analytics and AI
includes :

  • 10–15 years' experience in senior data, analytics, and technology leadership roles
  • Proven success developing and executing data and AI strategies in large, complex, data-led organisations
  • Experience across corporate domains such as People, HR, Finance, or Procurement
  • Track record in leading high-performing teams of data scientists and engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative analytical strategies that drive commercial outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing C-suite and executive levels
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication, leadership, and change management capability
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
