How you will make an impact
As an Ambulatory Services Administration Assistant, you will have the opportunity to join our supportive team as a casual staff member and make a significant impact by performing clerical and receptionist duties for our Ambulatory Services.
Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts across a five-day workweek and may have potential for weekend work as needed. Happy to be flexible around hours and work days.
Key responsibilities:
- Performs reception duties, offering hospitality and efficient services to all outpatients and staff.- Maintains appointment bookings with Allied Health Clinicians and Nurses.- Provides relevant service information to patients and, where appropriate, gains and record informed financial consent.- Complete invoicing/receipting of payment with HiCAPs and Medicare, and maintains chronic disease management plans- Escalates complex patient concerns to the relevant service manager- Develops and maintains a good knowledge of Cabrini ambulatory services and staff- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to Australian Privacy Principles and Cabrini Privacy Policy.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Ambulatory Services Administration Assistant who is committed to providing high-quality customer service for our outpatient and home-based services.
You will be:
- Strong attention to detail and fantastic customer service skills- Ability to work well within a team and has a flexible approach to tasks allocated- Proficient in Microsoft Office package, including good keyboard skills, word processing and accurate data entry.- Ability to learn different Cabrini systems including PAS and HiCAPs- Experience working in healthcare and training in medical terminology is highly desirable
