**The Role**

Reporting to the Chief Commercial & Risk Officer and supporting the Commercial Manager based in Darra, the Contracts Manager**will be a key resource in achieving the efficient & successful contracts management across the VAE Businesses opportunities.

Some of the key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Primary reviewer of customer contracts provided to VAE Group entities in Australia and New Zealand
- Develop the clause deviation register
- Develop the detailed contract review into a Rights and Obligations tables
- Assist the Project Delivery teams in setting up subcontractors’ contracts along with setting out their scope and inclusions lists in line with the Head Contract where applicable
- Conduct audit reviews of subcontracts agreements
- Provide contractual support to the operational teams around issues involving variations and delay claims.
- Provide support to the Chief Commercial & Risk Manager and the Commercial Manager as required.
- Work closely with the estimating & delivery teams as required from time to time.
- Assist in developing commercial and contractual Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide monthly report on legal case law covering construction and other related contractual summaries as required inclusive of any major claim negotiations.
