**The Role**
Key duties for this position includes leading a small team of professionals and collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program progress and management.
This role demands effective leadership, strong organisation and coordination of projects, and excellent interpersonal communication. The role requires a strategic mindset for problem-solving, as well as dedication to quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Necessary skills include proven experience in leading small teams, training analysis and development, proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles and contemporary pedagogical approaches to education, an ability to build and maintain professional relationships, and competence with learning management systems and associated software.
**About our Team**
The position is in a Directorate with broad responsibilities to the ADF Health Enterprise. This particular role considers organisational frameworks and various requirements to adequately prepare Defence health workforces for their duties through timely and appropriate educational solutions. This function is foundational to the delivery of a high standard of healthcare to Defence's greatest asset: its people.
This role supports the Defence Health Learning Management Authority component of Commander Joint Health's accountabilities and authorities. Health training and education is an essential element for the workforce fundamental input to capability and supports Commander Joint Health as the Capability Manager for Health which includes health workforce.
