Maxima is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Officer for a casual assignment based in Logan.

The role will be responsible for managing road permits and performing other traffic management functions for maintaining safe and efficient operation of road networks.

The hours for this casual assignment will be Monday to Friday 8-5pm (36 hours per week) with a casual hourly pay rate of $48.03 + Super, and is scheduled to commence mid September.

**Portfolio Responsibilities;**
- Setting conditions for temporary road closures on Council roads
- Liaising with internal and external customers on related matters
- Undertaking other investigations and actions as part of local Traffic Management Centre team, as directed by Principal Traffic Engineer and line supervisors.

**About you;**
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Traffic Act and regulations; the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices; relevant Australian Standards; and current practices and developments in the areas of Traffic Management
- Demonstrated experience in traffic management, including developing/assessing traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes
- A formal qualification to assist in the role (eg. Traffic Management/Safety). Traffic Management Design and Traffic Controller qualifications are highly desirable
- Well developed analytical and computer literacy skills
- Possess a valid "C" Class driver's licence & current White card

You will be required to supply your AUS work rights and 2 recent Referees.
