**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The role will play a critical part in supporting the project growth across Australia and New Zealand by managing and delivering successful bids in the zero-emission vehicle industry. You will be accountable for identifying, developing, and winning bids in partnership and collaboration with out industry partners and also working effectively cross-functionally within the business.

**A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY**
- Developing and leading the bid process and draw on technical, financial and business development support to ensure each bid draws on the appropriate resources at the right time to enable successful tender delivery.
- Own the bid resource planning to ensure capacity is aligned to demand, business resource requirements are forecasted and agreed in advance of the tender process
- Liaise and engage with senior management, joint venture partners, Board’s and Investment Committees to ensure smooth tender delivery
- Prioritise and respond to tender opportunities including managing the creation of winning tenders through full bid lifecycle from Bid/No-Bid through to customer negotiation and contract award
- Engage in pre and post bid submission negotiations with the client encompassing technical, financial, legal and commercial considerations, and act as an escalation point of contact in relation to bids
- Prepare documentation and proposals including working with the Finance team on commercial responses and with the technical team to develop technical proposals
- Manage the bid library and ensure it is kept up to date and relevant

**A BIT ABOUT YOU**

**Essential competencies**:

- Proven experience within government and/or corporate sector tenders
- 8-12 years’ experience within a Bids & Tenders capacity from an Engineering project capacity. Ideally within Transport, Energy or Engineering sectors
- Proven track record of managing the full life-cycle of bid management from tender identification, evaluation, through to delivery, negotiation and post contract closing/ handover.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple SME/ workstreams ensuring delivery of high quality tenders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Pragmatic, proactive and solution driven
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects at once

**Desirable but non-essential skills**:

- Knowledge of the EV and/or public transport and/or construction and/or energy landscape
- Renewable Energy Industry experience
