**About the Role**:
This role contributes to the planning, design and execution of the learning and teaching operations across the Schools and the Faculties in the Faculty of Humanities.

A key responsibility of the position is to support the Dean and Directors of Learning & Teaching, Heads of School and Course Coordinators in the areas of curriculum review and management, accreditation, and scheduling and timetabling matters. The incumbent will support a range of projects and strategic activities under the guidance of the Teaching Support Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate curriculum processes and associated activities.
- Provide high level support for curriculum performance evaluation, review and renewal initiatives relating to learning and teaching priorities within the Schools and Faculty, including accreditation processes
- Provide assistance and support in scheduling and timetabling, ensuring the maintenance of accurate scheduling records.
- Provide expert advice to staff in relation to program and course related policy and procedures.
- Coordinate activities related to assigned projects and initiatives, using appropriate methodology, systems and influencing skills to achieve relevant outcomes.

**To be successful in the role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of learning and teaching policies and procedures. Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities are essential.

The successful incumbent will provide expert interpretation, advice, and guidance on these policies, and possess strong project management skills to effectively coordinate and implement project plans. Key qualifications include the ability to gather, analyse, and report on data, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and report preparation. Strong capability and experience in curriculum development and implementation in an educational setting and previous experience in curriculum design, renewal and transformation is desirable.

**About The Faculty**:
Curtin’s Faculty of Humanities has three academic schools that deliver a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree by research (HDR) courses. The three academic Schools are School of Education, School of Design and the Built Environment, and School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry.

**As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.**
