Commercial Pricing Analyst

**The Opportunity**:
An existing permanent opportunity to join our dynamic Commercial - Pricing Strategy team. The Commercial Pricing Analyst will provide expertise in day-to-day pricing and profitability valuations of Simply Energy’s products and services.
The role will report to the Commercial Manager - Pricing Strategy and can be worked flexibly from home and our Southbank office - hybrid work model.
Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage business cases and financial models to evaluate profitability of new offers, products and services
- Develop models and dashboards to drive insightful analytics which supports the product and pricing strategy for traditional and new energy solutions
- Manage the gross margin model for reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting purposes
- Manage monthly Commercial reports on wholesale hedge position, green forecast and customers’ consumption
- Manage the competitive positioning model to proactively monitor the competitiveness of SE’s electricity and gas offers in all markets
**About You**:
Experience in the energy retail sector will be well regarded, but not essential.
