**Our Opportunity**

Reporting to the GM - Strategic Initiatives and Commercial, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for contributing and managing the Bank’s pricing of the product portfolio through monitoring pricing trends, conducting pricing analysis and modelling to assist the Bank to make informed pricing decisions.

The Pricing Analyst is a critical role within Australian Unity Bank that requires a sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience to translate pricing data into actionable sustainable profit-enhancing strategies.

**What you will deliver**
- Manage the Bank’s product portfolio and establish a reporting / analytics framework to deliver commercial sustainability and identify potential pricing opportunities.
- Setup and refine pricing models/tools to effectively respond to changing market/industry needs and trends
- Assess data from a variety of sources including competitor pricing to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends, identifying and resolving information gaps
- Investigate and problem solve pricing errors (if any) through engagement with key stakeholders.
- Delivery of analytical and operational requirements associated with strategic pricing agenda.
- Track customer engagement and insights to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings to continually optimize product and product experience.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
- Lead and execute all pricing related compliance obligations including risk management controls, internal and external audit activities

**What we are looking for**

To be successful in this role you will have strong commercial acumen, sound judgement and decision-making skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and can drive innovation and creative thought.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field, master’s degree in business administration will be advantageous.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience as a pricing analyst and proficiency in pricing tools & models.
- Commercial acumen and an advanced understanding of business growth levers.
- Ability to project manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders from all levels and interests.

**Specialisations that would make an impact**
- Proficiency in a range of software, including TM1 and accounting packages.
- Financial services experience is advantageous, especially in the area of treasury.
