Solutions Pricing Analyst

About the role

Reporting directly through to the Manager of Network Pricing - Express Parcels (EP), no day will be the same and you’ll never be bored.

The Solutions Pricing Analyst will be responsible for providing pricing decision support to the various layers of management along with achieving the overall financial and operational targets for assigned business units. As the Solutions Pricing Analyst, your ability to provide solutions-based pricing to support National Express Parcels opportunities will have you stand out from the crowd, along with your knowledge of cost modelling to ensure the accuracy of pricing for new opportunities.

As the Solutions Pricing Analyst, you will have the ability to see the big picture, be results orientated and tough minded and you will lead by example. Your attention to detail, passion and strong communication, operation and stakeholder management skills will hold you in high regard.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Detailed customer pricing, supporting tender submissions and new business requests Nationally
- Management of pricing submissions in accordance with authority matrix
- Working with internal stakeholders as part of solutions-based focus to pricing
- Maintenance of customer pricing models including updating cost increases and rates and management of enhancements/alternations as required
- Closely work with the commercial team to understand implication of changes in business activities on cost base and reflect impact in pricing model
- Maintaining a solid understanding of business operations and actively support the Sales community in decision making
- Providing ongoing support on analysing customer profitability, ensuring services meet required operating margins and work is being carried out within agreed scope
- Ensuring that strong financial controls are in place and are followed throughout the Business
- Maintaining compliance with TGE policies, processes and procedures relating to all administrative, finance and commercial functions
