Our client is a leading service provider to the healthcare industry who urgently requires a talented Commercial Analyst or Pricing Analyst.

Our client is a leading service provider to the Healthcare industry. The business has been expanding and diversifying its service offerings over the last few years and has become a nationwide market leader. As part of their continuous growth trajectory, they will be engaging in a large tender submission project. To support this project, they urgently require a talented Commercial Analyst or Pricing Analyst to assist the Commercial Manager with a significant government tender for the next 6-12 weeks.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

- Tender Analysis: Analysing the tender documents to understand the project requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria. Identifying key financial and commercial aspects that need to be addressed in the proposal.
- Pricing: Developing a pricing model that aligns with the project requirements, market conditions, and the organisation's goals. Conducting cost analysis, considering factors such as labour, materials, overhead, and profit margins.
- Providing Expertise to the Business: Ideally, you have prior experience participating in large government tenders, and you can incorporate that experience within the commercial team.
- Conducting sensitivity analysis.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing potential financial, contractual, and project risks, especially in relation to abatements/rebates.
- Collaborating closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure that the pricing and commercial aspects are accurately presented and aligned with the project requirements.

This role will start as soon as possible, with an initial 6-10 week timeframe, and there is a possibility to extend or be deployed on other projects within the organization.

The office is based on St Kilda Road and offers flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week.

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in one of the business's most important tendering projects in its history.

**About You**
- Advanced Excel Skills: Ability to build financial, pricing and commercial models.
- Presentation Skills: You have a natural ability to present the results of the tendering project to executive management.
- Ability to work with deadlines.
- Ideally, you have prior experience working on large government tender projects, particularly tender submissions to the government.
- You have attention to detail and understand what is required to submit a successful tender.
