Team Leader Recoveries

**The role**

As our new Team Leader Recoveries, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of dedicated recovery specialists, ensuring the best client and company outcomes are achieved while delivering consistently high levels of customer service.

You will:

- Coach, train and mentor the team, including conducting performance reviews, ensuring objectives are being met
- Deliver superior financial, service and effectiveness outcomes in line with KPI’s & company objectives
- Develop and implement processes to ensure maximum recovery potential is recognised within the team, using technical knowledge and file management skills to create fair and prompt outcomes for all parties
- Ensure knowledge and skills of direct reports are maintained in relation to relevant financial hardship and debt collection obligations and legislation to avoid compliance breaches
- Provide technical recovery and claims advice and assistance to all team members using technical expertiseReview and sign off on complex claim decisions and recovery write off

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Experience in recoveries, claims management, motor insurance claims, or debt collection desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and train staff
- Able to provide data analysis with a proactive approach to help drive the business forward
- Strong communication, negotiation & conflict resolution skills, and able to maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Excellent customer service skillsSolid understanding of liability and relevant laws insurance and debt collection laws
