Vets Central is on a mission to become Australia's leading veterinary partner, supporting the delivery of quality veterinary services to the community. We are now seeking a dedicated Accounts Officer to join our fantastic support office team on a full-time basis in Bundall.

**About the Role**

We're searching for a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for accounts. As an aspiring accounts officer, you'll play a key role in supporting our growth and contributing to our vibrant Gold Coast-based company. You'll need strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit. In return, you’ll gain hands-on experience with finance projects and future career opportunities as we expand.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Perform daily reconciliations of practice management systems
- Reconcile bank statements daily and weekly
- Communicate with clinics to address and resolve issues
- Generate practice management reports
- Assist the financial accountant with month-end processes
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and controls
- Support various finance team duties and projects as needed

**About You**

To thrive in this role, you should have at least two years of experience in a similar position or be studying towards an accountancy qualification. We’re seeking someone with:

- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management
- Strong customer service skills and clear communication abilities
- A proactive, energetic work ethic
- Responsible, organized, and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines
