About the Role

We're looking for a 
Senior Accountant
 ready to take ownership of a client portfolio, build long-term relationships, and be a key part of the client's advisory team.

You'll collaborate closely with our Production Manager (who handles the technical reviews and team workflow), while you focus on client interaction, strategic advice, and leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own portfolio of SME clients
• Building trusted relationships and acting as their go-to advisor
• Reviewing tax returns, financials, and BAS prepared by the team
• Delivering proactive advice across tax, compliance, and business strategy
• Collaborating with the production team for workflow and turnaround
• Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and efficiency

About You

You're not just technically capable — you bring positive energy, strong communication, and a genuine love of helping people.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years in Australian public practice
• Strong technical skills across tax and compliance
• Experience managing your own client base
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Approachable, bubbly personality — people love working with you
• A growth mindset and natural leadership style
• Xero and XPM experience preferred
