Vets Central is on a mission to become Australia's leading veterinary partner, supporting the delivery of quality veterinary services to the community and we are now seeking an Accounts Officer to join our awesome (even if we do say so ourselves) support office team on a full-time basis in Bundall.

The Accounts Officer’s role focuses on the reconciliation of clinic takings, bank reconciliations, month-end tasks and working with the financial accountant to problem solve any issues with the various clinics.

**The Position**

As a valued member of the Finance Team your responsibilities will include:

- Performing daily practice management system reconciliations
- Daily and weekly bank statement reconciliations
- Liaising with Clinics to resolve issues and queries
- Running practice management reports
- Assisting the financial accountant with month-end tasks
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and controls
- Assisting with other finance team duties and projects as required

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 1 year experience in working in a similar role or someone studying their accountancy qualification. We are looking for an individual with:

- High attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft excel to compare and manage data
- Customer-service focus, and ability to communicate clearly
- Proactive and energetic work ethic
- Responsible, organized, self-directed and efficient, with ability to work to deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (desired but not essential) and using all Microsoft Office Suite (competently)
